Wayne Jeansonne, Founder and President
A Graduate Master Builder, Wayne was building green homes long before it was the cool thing to do. When Wayne started Solluna Builders in 2002, his goal was to build comfortable, healthy, high-performance homes. He is recognized for his knowledge, years of experience, and ongoing efforts to mentor the industry to a more sustainable path and to protect our quality of life.
Wayne led the Green Builder program at American YouthWorks beginning in 1999. It was on-the-job training for students and a busy R&D center for new, exciting materials and techniques.
A popular speaker and consultant, Wayne uses his experience as a Realtor to help you choose features and materials that increase the value of your property. Choose Solluna Builders, and you’ll enjoy his practical, common-sense approach.
Wayne is an avid motorcyclist, studies bass guitar, and plays in a garage band.
Mary Simon, Vice President, Operations
Mary manages the business and finances and works closely with clients projects during planning, estimating, and the build project. She is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist.
Before joining Solluna in 2008, Mary spent 25 years in high-tech product development, where she was a planner, project manager, and information designer for large-scale projects. “There were lots of moving parts and many many players, plus deadlines, budgets, stakeholders, and constant changes. Lots to juggle. I was keeper of the big picture.”
Mary is a pianist and choral singer, and she loves getting dirty in the garden.
Chris Tomhave, Production Manager
Chris is a born-and-raised Texan. He grew up in Georgetown, Texas, graduated from Texas State University with a degree in psychology, and lives in Austin with his wife Lindsay, their daughter Sydney and their dog Oz. Aside from a brief hiatus as a skiing instructor in Lake Tahoe, Chris has spent his entire life living in and loving Austin. He’s a licensed real estate broker, and he holds Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) and Certified Green Professional (CGP) designations from the National Association of Home Builders. When it comes to real estate and home building, Chris’ philosophy is that it all begins with building successful relationships that last. “These relationships are the foundation to building a future that will fit your lifestyle, your family, and your goals,” he says. “The decision to move, remodel, or build a custom home is a personal and unique experience for each individual.” Providing communication, integrity, and exceptional client services are essential to Chris and to Solluna Builders.
